you know i was just thinking about madoka magica and the scene where madoka and homura are all naked in space like its obvious that like their clothes couldnt make it to that plane of reality or somthing but if thats the case then how did madokas ribbons get there?????
Maybe the ribbons symbolize something to Madoka and they exist by the force of the meaning she gave them.
